My family has been seeing Dr Hovan since the early 90’s. We have NEVER had a bad experience. He was always kind and gentle. When he first opened his practice we referred MANY of patients to him because he was so nice Unfortunately a couple years ago my husband called to make an appointment and we were told due to medical reasons he wasn’t currently seeing patients. We were told by his staff they would contact us if and when he returned to the practice. We were never contacted so we assumed he was no long practicing. I found out yesterday he was indeed still practicing but they refused to schedule an appointment because we hadn’t been there for over 18 months. It’s sad because we have supported him when he needed to build his practice but because HIS staff didn’t follow through with calling us we can no longer see him. I guess the loyalty was one sided

Dr. Hovan (and his father prior) has been looking after me and my family ever since I was old enough to go to a dentist. His staff is quick, efficient, and a pleasure to be around. They all seem to work hard and are very thorough. Dr. Hovan himself is a very kind hearted man and genuinely cares about his patients. I’m sure more often than not, they can call him a friend and their dentist. Unfortunately, I lost my dental insurance a few years ago so I don’t get to see him twice a year like I use to. However, I have still been able to contact his office to schedule an appointment to see him when I can for a cleaning, or have something wrong with my teeth. What a great guy and awesome staff. I would recommend him as a dentist to anyone. Thank you Dr. Hovan and staff for taking care of me and my teeth!

My family and I drive from Bellefonte to see Dr.Hovan and his staff ! I would not Go Anywhere else .. always kind and gentle and super friendly atmosphere you can tell his staff loves working there !
